A Billion Dollar Home

Ireland’s property market may be suffering, but one man, Frank Buckley, an artist form Ireland, has shown that good things can come out of the Eurozone crisis - specifically, a house. He has built an entire house out of euros, using decommissioned notes loaned from the Central Bank. In total, this monumental construction is worth $1.82 billion. His new home contains a bedroom, living-room and a bathroom, with a shower and kitchen on the way. Today, his work is being recognised as a series of comments on the euro, and his new den highlights the debt crisis that this single currency has caused.
